Community Judges

Community Judges are a crucial and integral part of our tournaments. They bring unique perspective while sharing valuable information with our students! This is an important connection that builds relationships beyond the competition, blessing everyone involved.

This year we are recruiting judges differently due to the Covid pandemic. All community judges should fit the following guidelines:

  • Judges should be under the age of 70

  • Judges should not have a Covid health risk

  • Sick or vulnerable individuals should not attend or judge

We are encouraging our community judges to judge two or more rounds if possible (typically every other round) and in pursuit of this goal we will:

  • Award a small giftcard for every 5 rounds judged

  • Provide light meals for community judges

We provide any training necessary, and have complimentary snacks available for judges to enjoy. Historically our community judges have loved their experiences at our tournaments.

If you are unable to join us this year, we understand! We will miss you and look forward to seeing you again next year!
